I am thrilled to be working with your second grader this year at Frey Elementary School. I am so excited to see what the 2020-2021 school year holds for us!
I have my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Georgia. I have been teaching for 10 years. I spent 5 in kindergarten and this will be my 6th year in second grade! I have a mathematics, gifted, and ESOL endorsement. I am also Orton Gillingham trained. I have spent many years building up a diverse classroom library filled with books for every interest and level! My favorite subjects to teach are math and science. I also love to integrate technology in my lessons!
I was raised in Marietta, GA and attended Cobb County Schools (Dowell, Pine Mountain, and KMHS) . For college, I attended UGA! Go DAWGS! During college I studied abroad in Newcastle, Australia and that sparked my love of traveling! I completed my student teaching at a bilingual school in Quito, Ecuador. I've traveled to Australia, New Zealand, Honduras, Ecuador, Scotland, Ireland, England, France, Italy, Spain, and Canada. I've briefly lived in South Carolina, Minnesota, and North Dakota, as well as visited many other states. Above are some pictures of my travels, my family, and my friends.
I started at Frey in 2018 as Ms. McCulloch. I got married in May 2019 to my husband James and now go by Mrs. Tubb. You can reach me via email at [email protected].
